Description: 

 

We are seeking a motivated Director of Consulting Services to join our growing team! 

 

The Director of Consulting Services provides executive leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to ensure the Consulting Services are successfully delivered to Clients on time. Supports the scaling of our Professional Services team and helps to align teams, processes, and strategies to drive sustainable growth.





Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Oversee a team of talented Data Security & Privacy experts as they work to assess, build, design, implement, and maintain programs across a variety of data security & privacy challenges including: NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, CPRA, Third Party Risk management, vCISO
  • Ensure the successful implementation of GRC platforms including OneTrust, ZenGRC, ServiceNow, IBM Open Pages
  • Ensure that Consulting Services are delivered timely, and projects are managed efficiently from kick off to completion.
  • Build and maintain strong Client relationships. This role is responsible for meeting Client expectations and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the project. Serve as the bridge between Clients, team members and Leadership to ensure all parties are on the same page.
  • Meet Client expectations and project requirements by directing the Service Managers, Project Managers (and Consultants as necessary) for all Client projects, monitor project timelines, recognize and address risks to project, ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and balance Consultant workloads.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure that all Deliverables meet or exceeds the Client’s expectations.
  • Implement performance metrics and key performance indicators to effectively track project progress. Collaborate with senior leadership to create reports that provide analysis and insights into Delivery, Consultant performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Keep up with technological advancements and industry trends to continuously improve Delivery and Quality Assurance processes to meet evolving Client needs.
  • Provide regular updates to Zaviant and Client leadership alongside internal PMO

 

COMPETENCIES:

  • Must possess a deep understanding of technology, data security, privacy and third-party risk management principles.
  • Experience implementing and managing GRC platforms including OneTrust, ZenGRC, ServiceNow, IBM Open Pages
  • Must instill confidence in Clients, foster collaboration, and provide clear direction to achieve project goals.
  • Must have effective communication skills and the ability to negotiate and set realistic expectations for complex projects while maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Ability to maintain the balance between meeting Client expectations, managing Consultant resources efficiently, and ensuring the team’s well-being.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple consulting projects and initiatives.
    • Ability to make informed decisions in the face of incomplete information, uncertainties, and ambiguities.
    • Recruiting, retaining, and developing top talent is an ongoing challenge. The Director of Consulting Services must have a keen understanding of the skills required for various projects and be proactive in building a skilled and motivated team.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Experience leading Professional Services Delivery and growing Professional Services teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business, Legal or a related discipline. Advanced degree and Certifications are helpful.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the GRC, Security, Privacy field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading teams



Compensation: 

 

  • Base salary of $140k to $200k
  • Performance based incentives bringing total comp to $180k to $225k> performance based consideration will evolve over time. Initially you have the individual contributor/quota angle, then a team contribution and eventually, tie them into the overarching strategic business objectives (EBITDA based bonus)
