Your Typical Day With Us 

As an Engineering Manager at Zeals, you will play a crucial leadership role in shaping engineering teams, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of impactful projects. This role is adaptable across different teams and functions, allowing for flexibility based on evolving organizational needs. You will focus on fostering a high-performing team culture, aligning engineering strategies with business objectives, and delivering high-quality products and services.

  • Building and Nurturing High-Performing Teams (Team Leadership and Development)

  • Shaping Technical Strategy and Scalable Architecture

  • Attracting, Hiring, and Retaining Top Talent 

 

What You’ll Need 

  • 3+ years of management experience in crossfunctional teams.
  • A deep understanding of backend/frontend technologies, APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching abilities with both backend and frontend engineers.
  • Experience in project management, prioritization, and roadmap planning.
  • A proven track record of delivering integrated solutions that meet business requirements.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Japanese language proficiency at a business or native level
  • Understanding of cultural differences
  • Knowledge and experience in chatbots, AI, marketing, and SaaS products

  • Salary Range : competitive
  • Performance review: twice a year
