The Role
ZenBusiness is seeking a Paid Digital Marketing Manager with 3–5 years of experience growing and scaling paid media campaigns across social and video channels—namely Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Demand Gen. This is a hands-on, performance-driven role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment and understands how to maximize full-funnel impact from upper- and mid-funnel investments. The right candidate will be fluent in measurement, creative frameworks, and AI-driven optimization to efficiently scale performance.
This is a remote role reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing.
Our ideal candidate will be strong in the following areas:
- Proven experience and success profitably scaling social media and video advertising.
- Digital marketing knowledge and understanding of how social and video campaigns integrate with bottom-funnel channels (e.g., Paid Search, SEO, Direct) to drive efficient blended performance.
- Highly analytical with established knowledge of measurement and attribution tools and best practices (e.g., MTA/MMM models and data-driven attribution).
- Using AI tools and automation platforms (e.g., Advantage+, Performance Max, creative iteration tools, etc.) to accelerate scale, improve optimization, and uncover insights.
- Strong understanding of creative best practices for social and video engagement, with a strong eye for ad hooks, storytelling, and brand alignment.
- Ability to target top audience segments to drive engagement and conversions from our ideal audiences looking to start a business.
- A testing mindset grounded in structured experimentation across creative, copy, and audience segments, while knowing how to identify and double down on what’s working.
- Creative eye that is able to leverage customer insights and industry trends to develop a consistent stream of relevant and engaging creative and content.
- Stellar communication skills both inside and outside the company while being fully remote (i.e. Slack, email, video conferencing, etc).
- Dedicated with a strong work ethic to consistently meet and exceed goals.
- Translating performance data into compelling narratives and decision-making recommendations for stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Hitting and exceeding goals focused on aggressive growth in conversions and revenue at CAC and ROAS targets.
- Managing and growing paid campaigns across online video, display, and social platforms.
- Planning and executing creative testing frameworks in partnership with in-house teams, contractors, and external agencies.
- Analyzing and reporting with a focus on measurement and the ability to overcome attribution challenges in social and video channels.
- Managing partner relationships with agencies and creative vendors to ensure high performance and strategic alignment.
- Measuring and reporting performance with a strong understanding of attribution models and cross-channel influence.
Goals and Desired Results
- Hit and exceed campaign goals for conversions, revenue, CAC, AOV, and other KPIs.
- Build and manage campaigns by being hands-on and managing through internal and external teams over time.
- Test themes and concepts that align with the ZenBusiness brand book and move our strategy forward.
- Establish new channels that can grow and scale to meet our business objectives.
- Expand into new platforms and audience segments that drive scalable growth.
- Create and maintain documentation and systems that allow campaigns to scale intelligently and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or another applicable field.
- 3-5 years of relevant paid digital marketing experience managing large accounts.
- Highly analytical and proficient with Excel, Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, and attribution platforms.
- Proven experience managing projects and tests across teams to meet deadlines and goals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup culture with other smart and passionate people.
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn and test new ideas.
- Experience with AI tools for creative development, campaign optimization, or audience discovery.
- Inherent passion for helping business owners and entrepreneurs be successful.
- Excellent communication, project management, and presentation skills.
- Project management experience leading tests across teams with urgency and clear documentation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Success with creator marketing and influencer platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and AI-first CRM tools.
- Business intelligence and data analysis tools.
- Experience with advanced analytics tools, including multi-touch attribution.
