The Opportunity

We’re looking for a dynamic Marketing Generalist (Director/Sr Manager based on experience) to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about marketing with a versatile skill set and a drive to shape and grow a brand in the tech space. This is more than a tactical marketing position; you will be responsible for shaping the way Zencoder goes to market, driving awareness, demand, and thought leadership in the fast-evolving AI space. You will have the autonomy to develop and execute strategies that impact our growth trajectory, positioning Zencoder as a leader in the AI developer space.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Development: Help refine and amplify Zencoder’s brand voice, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
• Product Marketing: Partner with product teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new features and launches. Drive messaging and positioning that clearly communicates Zencoder’s value proposition and unique differentiators.
• Thought Leadership & Content Strategy: Position Zencoder as a thought leader in AI-driven developer tools through insightful content, including blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, and industry speaking engagements. Establish and grow Zencoder’s voice in the industry.
• Demand Generation: Assist in the development and execution of demand generation programs to acquire, nurture, and convert leads.
• Event Marketing: Help plan and execute virtual and in-person events, webinars, and trade shows, ensuring Zencoder’s message reaches a wider audience.
• Social Media Management: Build and manage our social media presence, crafting posts, engaging with our community, and measuring performance across LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize and improve outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

• MBA from a top tier institution, with a focus on marketing, business, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a generalist marketing role, ideally within the tech or SaaS space.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and tactics (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing).
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling messaging.
• Analytical mindset with experience in marketing performance tracking and data-driven decision-making.
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms is a plus.
