Medical research has long overlooked the female body — and moms and moms-to-be already recognize that pregnancy care remains one of the most neglected areas, given the firehose of opinions, anecdotes, and late-night online search rabbit holes that result from basic questions like ‘can I take melatonin?’ or ‘is this much weight gain normal?’
The hard truth: pregnancy is still vastly under-studied. Zenith is an NYC-based startup changing that with the Pregnancy Evidence Project, a first-of-its-kind, opt-in research project designed to fill these longstanding gaps by learning from the millions of real-world pregnancy experiences that are already happening. Participation is simple: pregnant moms share their experience trough quick surveys and health data integrations. Every response helps build the evidence base we all wish existed to inform answers to the thousands of questions that come up during pregnancy.
And while we build that future, Zenith helps pregnant moms navigate the thousands of questions that arise during pregnancy. Meet Penny: a free tool making it simple to find the most reliable, relevant evidence for your specific pregnancy. Penny surfaces and summarizes the best available research and real data for your pregnancy questions, wherever and whenever they come up.

About the Role
You’ll own how we reach, engage, and grow our consumer audience from the earliest stages. You’ll drive day-to-day marketing execution alongside high-level growth strategy, and test creative, scrappy approaches to drive awareness and adoption. This role is ideal for someone who thrives charting the path between strategy and execution, and is excited to help us reach as many moms as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own the full-funnel growth strategy: from awareness to activation to retention, building the playbook to reach the millions of pregnant women in the US each year
- Drive consumer acquisition across all paid and organic channels (search, social, SEO, email, influencer/affiliate, etc.)
- Own and optimize growth strategy and budget allocation across approaches, balancing near-term needs with longer term priorities
- Plan and run growth experiments — from influencer outreach to giveaways to paid ads and beyond
- Own content planning and creation for organic and paid campaigns, defining how we build and nurture long-term relationships with users across touchpoints
About You
- You've successfully scaled a consumer product at an early-stage startup and are excited by this stage of growth
- You’ve built and managed paid marketing budgets with strong ROI; you have strong creative instincts and are eager to plan/execute creative (not just placement/bid strategy)
- You’re comfortable using data and analytical tools to inform decision making
- You have exceptional communication skills and get-things-done instincts
- You bring the ability to work independently and execute with velocity in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- You’re comfortable wearing many hats, learning new tools or approaches, and diving into both tactical and strategic work with excitement
- You have prior experience in a startup, early-stage, or a high-growth business during a period of rapid growth
