Senior Performance Marketing Manager (f/m/d)

The role
As the Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving Zenjob’s app growth through strategic and hands-on management of our performance marketing channels. You will oversee paid campaigns across multiple platforms, with a strong emphasis on running app ads on TikTok and Meta, while also managing campaigns on Google Ads and other performance marketing channels. Your expertise will ensure the efficient allocation of budgets, optimization of campaigns, and achievement of key performance metrics.

Our growth financing round of $50 million (€45 million) from February 2022 is helping us to scale our platform and add new data-based automation features for our rapidly growing customer base.

What you’ll be doing

• Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement data-driven performance marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and brand awareness.
• Channel Management: Plan, set up, manage, and optimize campaigns across TikTok, Meta, Google Ads ensuring strong ROAS and efficient budget utilization.
• Influencer and UGC management: Collaborate with our influencer manager to oversee user-generated content (UGC) collaborations with external creators and platforms to ensure impactful and authentic brand representation.
• Content strategy: Collaborate closely with the social media content team to develop an effective content strategy that maximizes both brand awareness and performance outcomes.
• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to design and test ad creatives tailored for different channels, especially TikTok and Meta.
• Analytics and Optimization: Regularly analyze campaign performance, generate actionable insights, and optimize campaigns for better results.
• Budget Ownership: Manage performance marketing budgets effectively, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Data, and Marketing to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with broader business objectives.
• Stay Ahead of Trends: Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities and stay at the forefront of performance marketing innovations.
• Testing and Experimentation: Drive growth by implementing A/B tests, incrementality studies, and new channel experiments.

What you’ll bring 

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, with a proven track record of managing campaigns on TikTok, Meta, and Google Ads particularly with a focus on app-focused strategies.
• App Growth: Proven expertise in crafting and executing app growth strategies, with a primary focus on leveraging paid social channels for scalable results.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in campaign setup, app tracking set up, audience targeting, budget optimization, and attribution modeling across multiple platforms. 
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with experience in using tools like Google Analytics, Data Studio, and other BI tools.
• Innovative Thinking: Creative problem-solver with an ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
• Cross-Channel Understanding: Experience in managing campaigns across multiple channels, including programmatic platforms and job boards, is a plus.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
