Zennify is seeking a highly qualified leader to join our Professional Services management team as the Technical Director of Presales & Delivery Architecture. In this strategic role within Zennify’s Salesforce practice, the Technical Director will coach, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of solution architects responsible for solution delivery, technology standards, and presales scoping & estimation.

This position serves as a critical bridge between delivery and sales enablement—partnering closely with sales leadership, delivery teams, and executive stakeholders to craft compelling technical solutions that address complex client needs. The Technical Director will drive architectural excellence across the team, strengthen Zennify’s presales capabilities, and elevate our go-to-market execution. In addition to team leadership, the position will engage directly with a subset of Zennify’s clients, serving as a trusted technical advisor and driving strategic solutioning.

The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of deep Salesforce platform expertise, strong presales strategy, and consultative skills that inspire customer confidence and fuel revenue growth.

Primary Responsibilities

Leadership & People Development (Approximately 30% allocated)

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Salesforce solution architects, in both the presales and delivery motions.
  • Partner with other Delivery leaders to recruit, coach, and grow top-tier technical talent.
  • Drive technical career development and ongoing learning through an internal solution architecture Center of Excellence.
  • Collaborate with staffing and resourcing functions to forecast and assess future project staffing needs, making informed recommendations, and planning and assigning resources to ensure projects are staffed effectively and delivered on time. 

Solution Strategy & Delivery Excellence (Approximately 40% allocated)

  • Lead the team responsible for solution integrity and delivery outcomes, including design, estimates, technical execution, and project methodology.
  • Define and enforce solution architecture standards related to scalability, security, and availability.
  • Conduct solution reviews, validate estimates, and provide architecture design sign-off.
  • Collaborate with Delivery leaders to drive continuous improvement and strategic change within Zennify’s Salesforce practice by identifying technology gaps, evaluating new tools, templates, and frameworks.
  • Champion the adoption of AI and automation, transforming Zennify’s delivery and presales solutioning processes to be more efficient and deliver higher-value outcomes for clients.
  • Serve in a client-facing role to understand clients’ most critical business needs, support project escalations, and guide project teams to deliver high client satisfaction and long-term success. This function serves to fulfill a 25% billable target for the role, attainable through ongoing and consistent project assignments. 

Presales Enablement & GTM Strategy (Approx. 30% Allocated)

  • Provide strategic direction and establish standards to ensure high-quality, scalable, and client-aligned Salesforce solution proposals and level-of effort estimations.
  • Serve as general technical oversight from deal pursuit through delivery execution, acting as an executive-level point of escalation for complex or high-stakes opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales leadership, account executives, and the GTM team to shape pursuit strategies, craft winning proposals, and define technical enablement strategies for emerging Salesforce capabilities & related technologies.
  • Assess internal readiness to support new service offerings and technologies; implement tools, processes, and learning paths to build capacity.
  • Engage with Salesforce industry programs and initiatives to stay ahead of innovation cycles and maintain Zennify’s competitive edge.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience with product, architecture, career and client leadership with a focus on Salesforce products/clouds
  • 5+ years experience working within a Salesforce development environment
  • 4 or more cross cloud Salesforce certifications including one or more Architecture Certifications (e.g. Certified Integration Architecture Designer)
  • 5+ years in an internal or external customer facing consultative role
  • Prior experience in a hands-on technical presales or solution engineering role
  • 3+ years in a leadership position, managing a team of highly-skilled, technical professionals 
  • Demonstrated success aligning technology strategy to business outcomes across complex Salesforce programs
  • The ability to work productively as a remote team member and willingness to travel as needed up to approximately 30% of the time.

Preferred Technical Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with projects leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud to ingest, harmonize, and unify both structured and unstructured data.
  • Proven proficiency in designing, building, and deploying scalable AI-powered digital agents using Salesforce Agentforce.
  • Experience delivering solutions utilizing Salesforce OmniStudio.
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated expertise in using Salesforce Data Loader for bulk data imports, exports, updates, and deletions.
  • Practical experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Deep customer orientation with a strong sense of ownership and urgency, consistently focused on delivering value and resolving challenges that impact client success.
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing technical teams, with a focus on coaching, career growth, and creating a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to connect technical execution to broader business goals, and confidently lead cross-functional teams through planning and delivery.
  • Highly analytical, organized, and adaptable, able to operate calmly and effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities.
The full compensation package is based on candidate's experience and certifications. 

Zennify pay range

$180,000 - $200,000 USD
