Portfolio Lead

United States or Canada

Portfolio Lead Salesforce, Data & AI  |  Financial Services & Regulated Industries

Zennify is hiring a Portfolio Leader to sell our Salesforce, data, and AI solutions to financial institutions. This is a quota-carrying role. You own pipeline, forecast, and closed revenue across your territory, and you lead deals from first contact through close.

You understand our solutions and how they translate into outcomes for banks, credit unions, wealth firms, and insurers. You know them well enough to lead the conversation, and you quarterback the right team of solution architects and engineers to scope, estimate, and win the deal.

You work AI-first, using agents and AI tooling to research accounts, prepare for meetings, support discovery, and draft proposals. That frees up time for the customer relationships that move deals forward. You have either sold into financial services or worked inside it, so you understand how these buyers evaluate and make decisions.

This is a quota-carrying role with on-target earnings of $250,000 to $350,000. You own pipeline, forecast, and closed revenue across your territory, and you lead deals from first contact through close.

 Primary Responsibilities

Own the commercial cycle

  • Own pipeline, forecast, and closed revenue for Salesforce, data, and AI across your territory.
  • Run the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, for both new-logo and expansion business.
  • Keep an accurate forecast with clear stages, next steps, and close dates.
  • Co-sell with Salesforce Account Executives and RVPs to source, advance, and close opportunities.

Sell AI-first

  • Use agents and AI tooling to research accounts, prepare for meetings, support discovery, and draft first-pass proposals.
  • Anchor each pursuit in ZennifyAccelerate, our AI-first deal process.
  • Use the time AI saves to deepen customer relationships and sharpen deal strategy.
  • Apply AI in line with each client's security and regulatory requirements.

Understand the solution and quarterback the deal

  • Understand Zennify's Salesforce, data, and AI solutions well enough to explain how they translate into outcomes for financial institutions.
  • Position the full portfolio: Salesforce, including Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and Marketing, plus data and AI on Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Quarterback solution architects and engineers to scope, estimate, and shape each deal.
  • Bring the business context and customer outcomes that let the technical team scope accurately and price with confidence.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years in a quota-carrying sales role, including experience selling Salesforce or Salesforce consulting services, ideally through the partner ecosystem.
  • Financial services experience, either selling into financial institutions or working inside one, such as banking, credit unions, wealth, or insurance.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce platform and how it is sold through the partner ecosystem, including clouds such as Sales, Service, Marketing, or Financial Services Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of the data and AI ecosystem around Salesforce, including Data Cloud, Agentforce, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Fluency using AI tools and agents in your own workflow.
  • A consultative approach with strong discovery skills, and the ability to connect a business problem to the right solution and outcome.
  • The ability to quarterback solution architects and engineers through scoping, estimation, and proposal development.
  • Clear communication with stakeholders from admin to the C-suite.
  • A track record of managing a pipeline, forecasting accurately, and hitting targets.
  • Willingness to work as a remote team member and travel as needed, up to approximately 30% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud.
  • Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, or other data platforms.
  • Experience with nCino for banking and lending.
  • Experience with Twilio, including Flex, messaging, and customer engagement. Twilio is a plus, not a requirement.
  • Experience co-selling with Salesforce Account Executives and RVPs.
  • Prior time at a consulting firm or systems integrator serving financial services.

Qualities of the Ideal Candidate

  • Brings grit and hustle, with strong follow-through.
  • Forms a point of view and leads the conversation rather than reacting to a requirements list.
  • Curious and quick to learn, especially with new technology and AI.
  • Comfortable moving between technical detail and executive business value.
  • Collaborative across sales, delivery, and partner alliances.
  • Trusted with sensitive client data, and disciplined about security and compliance.
The full compensation package is based on candidate's experience and certifications.
