About the Role:
We are looking for an Associate HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support two Senior HRBPs. In this role, you will assist the current team with employee relations, talent development, performance management, and policy implementation. You will ensure the team keeps accurate HR data, and build and maintain relationships with a variety of individuals across the company to implement best HR and workplace practices. Reporting to our VP of People, you will help ensure a positive workplace culture, compliance with regulations, and effective HR support. This is a great role for someone who is willing to learn and grow within an established HR Business Partner team and is excited to be part of Zenni’s continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior HRBPs in executing HR strategies and initiatives across departments
- Provide day-to-day employee relations support, addressing concerns and facilitating communication between employees and management
- Assist with the new hire onboarding process with HRBPs and offboarding exit interviews
- Help administer performance management programs, including tracking reviews and supporting coaching sessions
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and employment laws relevant to the optical industry
- Maintain accurate HR records, assist with data entry, and prepare reports for management review
- Support cross-functional HR projects related to engagement, diversity, and workplace culture
- Collaborate with the other People Team functions on compensation, benefits, and training programs
- Stay up-to-date on industry-specific labor regulations and best practices affecting optical retail or manufacturing environments
- Support the HRBPs in providing a best-in-class service model
Basic Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of HR experience, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or healthcare sectors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders of all levels
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR practices
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and/or HR certification
- Experience or interest in the optical industry is a plus

Compensation
In addition to other forms of compensation like perks and benefits, the estimated range for this role is $69,000 - $86,300. The final offer will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skill set, experience, geographical location, market conditions, and other organizational needs. The Company reserves the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for various reasons including business needs.
