Position Overview:
We’re looking for a front-end engineer to join our website development team to modernize our e-commerce platform and website. This is a role to work on high-level, complex projects with large-scale
and high-impact systems.
A strong predictor for success will be evident in a candidate who:

● Ability to accept and offer constructive criticism
Responsibilities for a Software Developer will include:
● Designing and writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
● Delivering new features, fixing defects, and improving the existing codebase
● Mentoring team members and modeling best coding practices
● Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
● Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
● Research new technology and ideas to enhance website and commerce functions.
● Working closely with other Developers, Product Managers, Designers, Testers and Business
Stakeholders to understand and gather requirements
● Extensive knowledge of web accessibility and front-end performance
● Desire to deliver work in a fast-paced agile environment
What you’ll need to succeed:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
● 5+ years of work experience in front end web development
● Proficient understanding of the following:
Web markup, mainly HTML5, CSS3, including W3C validation and compliance
CSS pre-processor LESS and SASS
Front-end frameworks with strong working knowledge of Bootstrap
Client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and React
Working knowledge with Next.JS will be a huge plus
Cross-browser compatibility issues and debugging methodology.
Code versioning tools, such as Git
● Have a sharp eye and attention to detail for both the visual rendering and coding
● Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests
● Knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs
● Ability to implement responsive design across all devices and platforms, and debug complex
layout/styling issues
● Extensive knowledge of web accessibility and front-end performance
● Desire to deliver work in a fast-paced agile environment
