Job Summary: As a Lead System Administrator, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with senior IT experts and business stakeholders to ensure the optimal performance, security, and compliance of systems, networks, and applications. Additionally, you will mentor junior administrators, develop strategic IT initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in IT operations.
Responsibilities:
System Administration:
- Lead server installation, configuration, and maintenance on Virtualization & Operating Systems.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for Endpoint OS & Hardware.
- Oversee Entera administration and Group policy deployment.
- Develop automation scripts / leveraging AI to streamline tasks.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical systems.
- Administer Microsoft 365 (M365) services and manage enterprise software licenses.
- Push patches, upgrades, drivers and software to endpoints.
Network & Security Administration:
- Design, implement, and migrate networks (Aruba, Cisco, Ruckus), resolving Wi-Fi and authentication issues.
- Develop and implement Firewall solutions, manage VPNs, and administer office Wi-Fi.
- Fix non-compliance issues in Intune, remove conflicting rules, and implement best practices in Palo Alto, Defender, and Intune.
- Conduct security assessments, enforce policies, and manage SonicWall and Palo Alto GlobalProtect.
- Implement and manage Defender and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
Infrastructure Reliability Engineering:
- Design and implement monitoring and alerting solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Optimize system performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholder teams for seamless deployment and operation.
- Set up alerts and correlate logs using SIEM tools.
- Review logs for compliance.
Documentation:
- Develop comprehensive documentation for projects.
- Identify issues, write clear instructions, and use visual aids.
- Regularly update playbooks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT system and network administration.
- Extensive experience in Active Directory, Azure & M365.
- Hands-on experience in Aruba, SIEM, Palo Alto Global Protect, Firewall.
- Proficient in system and network administration tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting, excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of security best practices and protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and manage technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: MS-100, MS-500, AZ-500, AZ-900.
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- Microsoft SC-100, MD-100.
