Position Summary:

The Senior Event Manager at Zenoti will take a strategic and leadership role in managing and executing a wide array of events, with a focus on enhancing industry relationships, increasing brand awareness, and driving measurable business outcomes. This role will oversee the strategy and execution of Zenoti’s multi-city roadshow (6-12 events per year), manage Zenoti’s brand presence and sponsorship deliverables at key industry association events, and lead the sponsorship strategy and outreach for Zenoti’s annual flagship event, Innergize. The ideal candidate is an experienced event strategist and executor, skilled at balancing high-level planning with operational excellence, and passionate about creating world-class experiences that deliver results.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Strategy
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive annual “roadshow” event strategy that aligns with Zenoti’s brand objectives, sales goals, and overarching business priorities.

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy that enhances Zenoti’s relationship with key industry associations (e.g., Professional Beauty Association, International Salon & Spa Business Network, American Medspa Association, etc.), identifying opportunities for partnership, sponsorship, and thought leadership.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product, to identify priority events and goals, executing against robust KPIs and delivering measurable business outcomes.

    • Develop and execute the outreach strategy to acquire thoughtful and meaningful sponsorship dollars in support of Zenoti’s annual flagship event, Innergize, and subsequent roadshow events.

    • Leverage post-event feedback channels, data, and insights to prepare post-event analyses to refine event strategies.

  • Event Execution and Management
  • Oversee the end-to-end event management, including pre-event analyses, budgeting, planning, vendor negotiations, site selection, logistics, and post-event reporting for annual “roadshow” events – approx. 6 a year.

  • Oversee and manage Zenoti’s participation at industry association events, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand presence - approx. 4-6 a year.
    • Ensure Zenoti’s onsite event team members are equipped to run all aspects of the event; to include knowledge of onsite activations, lead scoring best practices, content outputs, and execute on all event logistics.

  • Sponsorship & Relationship Management
    • Lead the sponsorship strategy and execution for flagship event and subsequent roadshow events, securing strategic partnerships and ensuring the delivery of sponsor benefits at all events.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsorships, managing contracts, payments, and deliverables to maintain partner satisfaction and drive mutual value.

  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Partner with marketing campaign managers, Community Manager, and Creative Services team to execute pre, during, and post event integrated marketing plans across print, digital, video, social, and email – drive attendance, engagement and business outcomes for roadshows and association events.
    • Collaborate with internal program managers to identify opportunities to highlight events, partnerships, sponsorships, attendees, and thought leadership across Zenoti webinars, newsletters, and email marketing campaigns.

  • Support onsite event team with live content creation, including social media posts, videos, photos, ‘mini mics,’ and capturing customer testimonials for broader marketing campaigns and goals.

  • Budget and Resource Management
  • Oversee event budgets, working with billing and finance teams, to ensure efficient use of resources and meticulous tracking of expenditures against ROI.

  • Evaluate and recommend event tools and technologies to streamline planning, execution, and data collection processes.

    • Manage process for internal teams to request Zenoti attend/sponsor specific association events or take roadshow to a specific city.

  • Skills required to be successful:
    • Strategic Vision: Ability to craft and implement long-term event strategies that align with business objectives.
    • Leadership: Proven experience managing complex projects and working with cross-functional teams, driving results in high-pressure environments. Ability to troubleshoot and adapt quickly, maintains a proactive focus.
    • Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry associations and key stakeholders.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficient in analyzing event metrics to optimize future performance and demonstrate ROI.
    • Operational Excellence: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain attention to detail.
  • Budget Management: Experience managing event budgets and reporting spend against ROI.
    • Flexibility: Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in event management, with a proven track record of strategic planning and execution for a variety of events and sizes (e.g., roadshows, conferences, trade shows), delivering measurable business impact in creative ways.
  • Expertise in sponsorship management, including securing, negotiating, and executing sponsorship agreements and reporting value of sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel domestically for onsite event execution (approx. 8%-12% of the time).
  • Proficiency in event management software, CRM tools, and project management platforms, including Salesforce, HubSpot, and Outreach. Familiarity with tools like Jira is a plus.
  • Ability to work non-standard working hours occasionally to accommodate onsite event execution and collaborate across global time zones.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing, start-up environment, demonstrating flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach to managing evolving priorities.  Has a “roll-up your sleeves” mindset.

Zenoti Pay Range

$125,000 - $135,000 USD
