Job Summary: As a System Administrator , your role is to install, configure, maintain, and support the IT infrastructure of the organization. You will collaborate with other IT experts and end-users to ensure the smooth operation of systems, networks, applications, and compliance. You will also troubleshoot issues, perform backups, document procedures, and provide training as needed.

 

What Will I be doing & What skills do I need?

System Administration:

  • Perform server installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks on Windows-2012\2016\2022
  • Strong knowledge on troubleshooting the Windows 11
  • Hands-on experience on AD and Group policy deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure-AD and on-prem active directory integration.

Network Administration:

  • Implemented, configured and migrated Aruba, Cisco and Ruckus networks.
  • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi and authentication issues with expertise.
  • Designed and implemented Firewall solutions with advanced skills.
  • Configured and managed ISPEC VPN and Global Protect VPN with expert knowledge.

User Support:

  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware, software, and application issues.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issues as per the company SLA’s

Security:

  • Have strong knowledge on how to fix the non-compliance issue in Intune
  • Identify and remove the conflicting rules and unnecessary configurations from the firewall and Intune
  • Implement the best practices in Palo Alto, Defender for security, compliance and Intune

Documentation:

  • Strong documentation skills for the project plan, design, and implementation.
  • Identify the known issues and their root causes, Write clear and concise instructions for each issue, Use screenshots, diagrams, or videos to illustrate the steps, Update the playbooks regularly based on feedback and new information.

Collaboration:

  • Build rapport and trust with various business stakeholders within the organization.
  • Provide self-directed learning opportunities for the team to enhance their technical competencies.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Able to set up alerts for various scenarios and notify the IT team to work proactively.
  • Proficient in log correlation across all devices using SIEM tools.
  • Review the logs as per the compliance programs or requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in Active Directory, Azure, Exchange, and Azure
  • Hands-on experience in Aruba, SIEM, Palo Alto Global Protect, Firewall
  • Proficient in system and network administration tasks.
  • Should also have Strong troubleshooting, excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and protocols.

Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: MS-100, MS-500, AZ-500, AZ-900
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
  • Microsoft SC-100, MD-100
  • CompTIA Network+(Optional)

Zenoti Pay Range

$60,000 - $70,000 USD
