Software Engineer Intern - Attribution

The internship will help us catch up on some technical debt and establish a stronger foundation for monitoring the data generated by Attribution. By working closely with the software engineering team, the intern will contribute to improving system reliability, scalability, and observability. This role will also support longer-term engineering efforts by helping implement cleaner, more maintainable solutions that enable the team to move faster in the future.
Summer 2026 Internship Information
- Real-world, hands-on experience in the marketing technology industry (85% of work in internship role and 15% of internship with professional development/webinars/activities)
- Hybrid in our San Francisco office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office)
- June 16th through August 28th
- $23.00/hour
- Full-time - 40 hours per week
- Weekly lunches and social gatherings in office
- Speaker Series with subject matter experts across Zeta Global
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- CI/CD Automation: Reduce manual overhead in release processes
- Monitoring & Observability Improvements: Set up and refine dashboards in Honecomb, Grafana and MonteCarlo
- Technical Debt Cleanup: Refactor some legacy code for better maintainability and performance
- Infrastructure & Reliability Enhancements: Write scripts to automate routine operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming proficiency in languages like Python (preferred) or Java
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools
- Basic understanding of monitoring/observability tools
- Knowledge of Git
- Exposure to cloud platforms is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Good communication skills for documenting and sharing learnings
