Our AI Enablement and Developer Experience team is responsible for embedding AI-native practices across the engineering organization, improving productivity, code quality, and developer workflows. The internship will support these goals by contributing to AI-assisted tooling, automation pilots, and developer onboarding assets, helping accelerate adoption while freeing senior engineers to focus on critical roadmap and platform evolution. This role provides a structured entry point into our transformation program and builds a long-term talent pipeline aligned with our AI-first strategy.
Summer 2026 Internship Information
- Real-world, hands-on experience in the marketing technology industry (85% of work in internship role and 15% of internship with professional development/webinars/activities)
- Hybrid in our San Francisco office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office)
- June 14th through August 28th
- $23.00/hour
- Full-time - 40 hours per week
- Weekly lunches and social gatherings in office
- Speaker Series with subject matter experts across Zeta Global
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Pilot AI-native workflows with engineering teams, testing end-to-end flows such as Vibe coding, local dev automation, and AI-assisted code review.Improve local development environments by building scripts, containerized setups, and onboarding automation to reduce time-to-first-commit.
- Contribute to internal DevEx tooling (IDE integrations, CI/CD templates, repo standardization) and maintain onboarding guides and prompt libraries.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Basic programming experience (e.g., Python, Java, or TypeScript) and familiarity with Git/GitHub or GitLab.
- Curiosity about AI-assisted development (Cursor, Copilot, Vibe coding, etc.) and willingness to learn prompt engineering fundamentals.
- Exposure to local development environments, Docker, or simple CI/CD pipelines is a plus not required.
- Strong willingness to experiment, take feedback, and collaborate in a fast-paced engineering environment.
