This internship provides hands-on exposure to core financial analysis and reporting within a fast-paced business environment. The intern will support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, assist with month-end reporting and dashboard creation, and work with financial data from multiple systems to track key performance metrics. Through cross-functional collaboration and project-based work, the intern will help deliver actionable insights, improve financial models and processes, and present findings to finance leaders by the end of the internship.

Summer 2026 Internship Information

  • Real-world, hands-on experience in the marketing technology industry (85% of work in internship role and 15% of internship with professional development/webinars/activities)
  • Hybrid in our New York City office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office)
  • June 2nd through August 14th
  • $23.00/hour 
  • Full-time - 40 hours per week
  • Weekly lunches and social gatherings in office
  • Speaker Series with subject matter experts across Zeta Global

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling by updating models, assumptions, and templates.

  • Analyze actuals vs. budget/forecast and help explain key variances in revenue, costs, and margins.

  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting, including management reports and dashboards.

  • Help with the month-end close process by validating data and pulling reports from financial systems.

  • Pull, clean, and analyze financial data to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and support planning and business reviews.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with financial modeling or data analysis preferred.

  • Ability to work with data from multiple sources and identify trends or discrepancies.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
