Access Executive Development Program Overview:

Access is seeking exceptional individuals for the Access Creating Executives Program (“ACE Program”). ACE roles provide hands-on experience and exposure to key operational best practices and tactics of Access’ portfolio strategy execution.

Candidates (“ACEs”) join the ACE Program as members of an Access portfolio company, directly supporting and reporting to executives in key functions including Lead Generation, Revenue Operations, Digital / Business Intelligence, Finance, M&A / Corporate Development, Strategy, and Marketing. ACEs are expected to improve, execute, and document best practices within the key roles, developing a meaningful operational skillset.

ACEs will attend and participate in Access networking events, training sessions, and summits with other executives and ACEs across the Access portfolio. ACEs will work with Access to build skillsets, report out to other ACEs, develop playbooks, and provide insights to executives where appropriate. They will leverage key learnings across the current and future portfolio, while also driving projects and new investment opportunities. Top performers will have career path opportunities within their respective portfolio company and/or across other areas of the Access Holdings ecosystem.

Role Overview

The Vice President of Marketing and Communications will spearhead Zeus Fire and Security’s marketing efforts during a period of rapid growth, positioning the company as a leader in the fire and security services industry. This strategic role focuses on demand generation, brand storytelling, and innovative marketing to drive high-quality leads and support revenue goals. The VP will oversee all marketing activities, including digital campaigns, content production, public relations, and event management, while managing a growing marketing team and collaborating with senior leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Demand Generation & Funnel Optimization
    • Develop and execute data-driven demand generation strategies to drive high-quality leads and conversions.
    • Design digital marketing campaigns leveraging SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media to consistently fill the sales funnel.
    • Partner with sales to refine lead scoring, nurturing, and conversion processes using advanced automation tools and analytics.
  • Strategic Marketing Leadership
    • Craft and implement a marketing strategy to position Zeus as an industry leader.
    • Lead storytelling initiatives to highlight Zeus’s growth, impact, and unique value across customer segments.
    • Drive thought leadership by creating white papers, case studies, and multimedia content.
  • Performance Marketing & Analytics
    • Oversee performance marketing strategies, ensuring ROI through data-driven decisions and continuous optimization.
    • Track, analyze, and refine lead generation and conversion efforts based on performance insights.
  • Public & Media Relations
    • Build relationships with media outlets and industry influencers to boost brand visibility.
    • Manage press releases, media kits, and external communications to enhance Zeus’s public profile.
  • Event & Trade Show Management
    • Lead the planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, and speaking engagements.
    • Maximize ROI on event participation through innovative lead capture and follow-up strategies.
  • Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
    • Partner with HR to craft internal communication strategies that align employees with Zeus’s mission and vision.
    • Develop engaging content for newsletters, town halls, and company-wide events.
  • Content Production & Studio Management
    • Oversee Zeus’s On-Air Recording Studio, managing podcast programming and video production aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, including hiring and mentoring team members.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, sales, operations) to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Acquisition Integration
    • Lead marketing integration for newly acquired companies, ensuring brand consistency and maximizing acquisition opportunities.
  • Budget Management & Optimization
    • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with strategic goals.
    • Monitor expenditures and optimize campaign ROI.

 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, ideally in M&A, B2B, and performance marketing environments.
  • Proven expertise in demand generation, inbound marketing, digital marketing, and lead management processes.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling marketing teams and programs in growth-focused organizations.
  • Strong experience with digital marketing, CRM platforms, automation tools, and analytics.
  • Expertise in public and media relations, crisis communications, and event management.
  • Experience managing content creation and production, including podcasts and video production.
  • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
