Summary

The Sales Planner will support the Sales Team in managing the processes around launching and executing sales initiatives to sell Zevia products in the marketplace.  This role will be responsible for developing a strong understanding of the Zevia sales process, the Zevia product line, and our customer base. The key responsibilities include supporting Key Account Managers to plan, maintain, and prepare promotional entries and new products. Additional responsibilities include promotion management in Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system and managing customer promotional calendars.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with Key Account Managers (KAMs), to create and update promotional plans for assigned retailers.
  • Maintain and update contract tracking system for all existing events.
  • Provide reporting on all aspects of retail promotions to include distribution tracking, pricing, new items, and others as requested.
  • Partner with KAMs in preparing for retailer meetings, sales presentations, and internal business reviews.
  • Maintain retailer promotions and portal contact list, login details, and procedures for all retailers.
  • Participate in training and ongoing development opportunities to become the subject matter expert for all promotional planning, and primary point of contact for all retail promotional administration.
  • Prepare and publish post-promotion analysis in alignment with revenue management team.

What We're Looking For

  • Representation and experience with a successful history in the East Coast Region.
  • Preferred 3-5 years prior experience with CPG promotion management.
  • NetSuite Experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and align priorities to achieve objectives of the role.
  • Must demonstrate good problem-solving ability and initiative in finding workable solutions to complex problems affecting multiple users of shared data.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work frequently with team to ensure understanding and alliance on initiatives.
  • Demonstrates strong computer knowledge skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Prior experience using a TPM system preferred.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and has a proven track record of meeting deadlines. 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

Under normal operations, this position operates in a home office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and printers.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Our compensation package includes a base pay range + bonus + equity 

Pay Range

$72,000 - $78,000 USD
