Summary

The Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring Zevia’s marketing initiatives are executed with clarity, focus, and efficiency. This role is a central point of coordination across Creative, Brand, Product Marketing, E-comm, Sales, Ops, and external partners.

Reporting to the Director of Design, the Project Manager owns project intake, prioritization, timelines, and trafficking across cross-functional stakeholders. This includes supporting cross-functional innovation and packaging development projects, which often run in parallel, as well as broader marketing efforts including internal production planning for brand campaigns and launches, ensuring projects move smoothly from kickoff through asset delivery.

This is a highly collaborative, systems-minded role focused on improving visibility, as well as driving alignment and shared understanding across teams. The Project Manager translates business priorities into actionable plans, manages timelines, gathers the right inputs upfront, and clearly communicates project progress to keep work on track.

The Ideal Candidate

You are an experienced project manager who can manage complex, cross-functional projects, understands creative work deeply, and balances structure with flexibility. You’re comfortable working across disciplines and seniority levels, and you communicate with confidence and clarity.

You build trusted relationships, bring focus to complexity, and ask the right questions early to keep work moving forward. You excel at refining systems, solving problems, and managing complex marketing initiatives with multiple stakeholders and evolving demands. You take pride in helping teams deliver strong work and maintain momentum by removing unnecessary friction with creativity, diplomacy, and thoughtful leadership.

What You’ll Do

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Own cross-functional coordination for marketing initiatives, ensuring clear project ownership, aligned scope, and consistent communication across launch, ecomm, and commercialization efforts.
  • Lead day-to-day project management, keeping work on brief, on schedule, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Own brief intake and project setup through a centralized system, gathering and validating all required inputs, specs, materials, and approvals prior to kickoff.
  • Own a shared project management tool as the central source of truth, managing licenses and seats while implementing workflows, blueprints, optimizations, and training to drive consistent adoption and visibility.
  • Build, maintain, and support integrated project plans across creative, brand, and product marketing workstreams, proactively identifying risks, conflicts, or shifting priorities.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings, proactively surfacing challenges, clarifying dependencies, and driving resolution before issues impact timelines.
  • Align design resources across teams by assessing capacity, sequencing work appropriately, and recommending external partners or additional support when needed.
  • Support launch and commercialization efforts by coordinating needs across all stakeholders, ensuring cross-functional action items are tracked, aligned, and completed on time.
  • Support design-related legal and finance processes by coordinating paperwork, tracking approvals, and ensuring required documentation is submitted accurately and on time in partnership with Legal, Finance, and Operations.
  • Own launch documentation and reporting so all stakeholders are working from a shared, up-to-date, and accurate source of truth.
  • Manage final asset organization, versioning, approvals, and trafficking to internal teams, sales partners and external agencies.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, creative operations, marketing operations, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of creative and internal production processes across marketing initiatives, with a sharp eye for detail, documentation, and efficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, complex timelines, and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing integrated project plans across multiple workstreams.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools, with Wrike strongly preferred.
  • Background in agency, marketing, communications, or related environments.
  • Exposure to CPG, natural products, or adjacent categories preferred.
  • Familiarity with print and digital production processes, ecommerce workflows, and asset management.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and confident, with the leadership presence to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable navigating senior stakeholders and complex projects.
