Software Engineer III - Assoc Tech Lead

WHO YOU ARE:

Software Engineer play a key role in the design, development/configuration, unit testing, installation, and ongoing maintenance of ZINNIA software platforms. ZINNIA Senior Software Engineers work with stakeholders to develop solutions and/or products that fulfil the needs of ZINNIA internal stakeholders and clients. Those solutions and/or products help ZINNIA and ZINNIA clients to be more efficient and provide better service to end customers. Senior Software Engineers interact directly with Technical leaders, business stakeholders, and may periodically interact directly with ZINNIA clients

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work as part of a global, cross-functional team to develop innovative software for ZINNIA stakeholders.
• Contribute to projects by creating well-designed, customized, testable, efficient code for ZINNIA platforms.
• Assist our teams in providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, improvements, or custom enhancements to existing ZINNIA platforms.
• Flexibility to support the challenging development and delivery needs of ZINNIA
• Collaborate with our global teams, internal stakeholders and customers.
• Act as a mentor and technology expert for team members and conduct technical reviews
• Design, develop and validate various requirements for the ZINNIA platforms
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, recognize and react to changing business needs and effectively prioritize tasks
• Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and in conjunction with team members and business units. Enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projects

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Should have 8+ years IT experience with not less than 7+ years of strong expertise in Java technology with end to end project life cycle experience using Agile / Kanban methodologies.
• Demonstrable experience in Java and AWS
• Ability to develop enterprise solutions following software designs
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and/or SQL Server
• Understanding of advanced design patterns, API-first design, and SOLID principles
• Must Have experience with AWS
• Experience releasing software through full CI/CD
• Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a strong sense of ownership
• Ability to work as part of a cross-functional, global team
• Evaluation of new and upcoming technologies.
• Providing technical assistance, problem resolution and troubleshooting support.
• Eager to learn new tools and technologies.

Qualifications

Should have BTech / BE / MCA / MTech / ME or equivalent qualification from reputed institutes

Must Have Skills:

• Java, AWS, Dev Ops Concepts and Implementation
• JIRA, Confluence, GitHub

Good to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of performance tuning, security, scalability
• Dev Ops Implementation
