Associate Business Analyst

WHO YOU ARE:

We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join Zinnia as a Business Analyst. This position takes responsibility for understanding and meeting client requirements; seeks, interprets, and responds to client feedback and contributes to developing standards and feedback methods; manages client expectations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and support the development and enhancement of innovative Exchange products.
• Responsible for research, design, and development process, understanding the requirements of stakeholders and converting them into documents
• Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams during product development

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in identifies client requirements, defines the scope of project and solutions overview to create Statement of Work or Software Requirements Specification as applicable, establishes timeframes for completion, develops specifications, and prepares the necessary documentation.
• Understand the entire development cycle, interact with developers & QS resources and guide them on the necessary functionality.
• Proficient with Jira, Google Docs, and Google Spreadsheets
• Identify and assist clients in necessary preparations for all project pre and post-launch requirements
• Good to have:
• Good to have working experience on enterprise-level applications/products
• Insurance/financial services (Life and Annuity) industry knowledge
• Experience with Web-based software as a service (SaaS) application
