WHO YOU ARE:
The Director, Solutions Consulting will manage the Pre-Sales team who have the goal of supporting the sales team in pursuing and closing strategic opportunities through the development of innovative solutions supporting prospect’s needs. To be successful in this role, one must enjoy managing a team and working cross-functionally within the organization as well as working with prospective clients. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is creative, detail oriented, possesses the ability to learn through observation and can think well on their feet.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage a team of Solution Consultants and other pre-sales employees
- Work alongside the Head of Revenue Operations to build the processes and workflows for the team
- Create, document and present strategic solutions to support prospect’s needs
- Support sales directors by pursuing and closing strategic opportunities
- Develop strategic pursuits for prospects and existing clients
- Assist with RFx responses
- Perform in person and virtual product demos, webinars and presentations
- Leverage consultative skills to uncover prospect’s needs and develop strong understanding of scope as part of proposal development process
- Understand and translate prospect’s business requirements into cogent Zinnia solutions in terms of business and technology
- Maintain leadership knowledge of Zinnia solutions, industry trends and technology advancements
- Document and translate prospect’s needs to the Zinnia Delivery organization
- Represent Zinnia sales organization
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree or 7 to 10 years work experience in a related field
- 5+ years of Life, Annuity, and outsourcing industry experience
- Proven experience and success in working independently at a fast pace
- Excellent results orientated, organization and management skills with the ability to lead and focus the efforts of others to a specific goal
- Superior oral/written communication skills
- Ability to present to large audiences
- Ability to build internal and external relationships
- Ability to translate functional, technical and complex information to a broad audience
- Ability to effectively interact with the executive level on a regular basis
- Proven problem solving, decision making, analytical and organizational skills required
- Must be a creative and strategic thinker
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with presentations
- Team player with ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
- Some travel may be required

The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000, dependent on skills and location. The salary range is a good faith estimate based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.
