
Product Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Product Specialist at Zinnia, you will serve as a subject matter expert on Zinnia’s Insurance Platforms solutions. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and Delivery teams to align client needs with platform capabilities. Your expertise will help clients understand the full potential of our technology and ensure internal teams are equipped to position, implement, and evolve Zinnia’s products effectively.
This role is based in Greenwich, CT or Bridgewater, NJ, with a flexible hybrid work schedule.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Act as the expert on Zinnia Insurance Platform capabilities, configurations, and use cases.
- Support Sales and Deal Architects during client discussions, demonstrations, and RFP responses.
- Collaborate with Customer Success teams to help clients maximize adoption and satisfaction.
- Partner with Product Management to provide real-world feedback and inform roadmap priorities.
- Translate client needs into actionable product requirements and configuration guidance.
- Prepare and deliver tailored product overviews, capability maps, and client-specific documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between external clients and internal teams to ensure a consistent understanding of product functionality.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product releases, enhancements, and emerging features.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Specialist, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Customer Success, or Product Management role, ideally within SaaS, insurtech, or financial services industries.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software platforms, system integrations, and client onboarding processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex functionality to both business and technical audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate across Sales, Product, and Delivery functions.
- High attention to detail, proactive attitude, and strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
