The ideal candidate will combine strong SQL skills, systems thinking, and exceptional communication abilities to coordinate short-term mitigations and long-term corrective solutions.

This role partners closely with Finance, Operations, Compliance, Engineering, and other Product Managers to ensure cash, suspense accounting, reconciliation, and integration-related issues are resolved efficiently and sustainably.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Investigate and diagnose issues related to:
    • Cash Application
    • Suspense Accounting
    • Reconciliation Breaks
    • Data Mismatches
    • Batch Failures and integration defects
  • Write and execute SQL queries independently to analyze data discrepancies and validate root causes.
  • Review API integrations, integration flows, and workflow orchestration (e.g., Camunda) to identify where breakdowns occur.
  • Document short-term mitigations and production fixes.
  • Define and drive long-term corrective solutions in partnership with engineering teams.
  • Coordinate across multiple product and development teams to ensure fixes are implemented and validated.
  • Create reporting and metrics to demonstrate issue trends, resolution timelines, and system stability improvements.
  • Proactively identify systemic risks and recurring patterns before they escalate.
  • Maintain strong communication with business stakeholders, ensuring clarity on issue status and resolution plans.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • A Bachelor/Master's Degree with 5+ years of Product Management experience in a technical or systems-oriented environment.
  • Strong SQL skills (ability to independently write and execute queries for data analysis).
  • Experience reviewing and understanding API integrations and system data flows.
  • Ability to analyze complex, multi-system workflows and identify points of failure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.
  • Foundational understanding of accounting principles (e.g., reconciliation, suspense accounts, debits/credits).
  • Experience documenting short-term fixes and defining long-term product improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with PeopleSoft or similar ERP platforms.
  • Exposure to billing or financial transaction processing systems.
  • Familiarity with workflow engines such as Camunda.
  • Experience in financial operations or finance-adjacent product environments.
