WHO YOU ARE:
Zinnia is seeking a Corporate Development Intern to join our team and contribute to our growth strategy. As a Corporate Development Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience by contributing to the analysis of market opportunities, the assessment of strategic partnerships, the development of pricing strategies, and the support of go-to-market initiatives for key corporate priorities.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
- Business Strategy and Market Analysis
Support the evaluation of growth opportunities that align with Zinnia’s long-term vision and competitive strengths. Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, pricing and go-to-market strategy, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
Assist in all aspects of the M&A process, including research, strategy development, due diligence, and post-deal integration. Learn how to build business cases and frameworks to assess potential transactions.
- Investor Relations and Communication
Help prepare materials for investor presentations, updates, and reports. Support the cultivation of relationships with stakeholders, including venture capital firms and private equity investors. Contribute to capital-raising initiatives through collaboration with internal and external teams.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using tools like Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and financial tasks.
- An interest in financial modeling and prior experience applying basic financial analysis in coursework or internships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the InsurTech industry is a plus.
