Intern Sales Operations - Summer 2025

WHO YOU ARE:
The Sales Operations Intern will be exposed to many of the day-to-day aspects of Zinnia’s regular activities, with a focus on obtaining an in-depth understanding of the sales and sales operations processes in the life insurance and annuity administration and technology outsourcing market, learning business development tools, and working for an organization that cares about its community and gives back.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
- How to maintain information in a CRM system
- How to maintain a knowledge base used for responding to Requests for Pricing and Requests for Information
- The steps to take to complete market research
- How to prepare presentations for both potential sales prospects, existing clients, and internal stakeholders
- Assisting other Sales and Sales Operations colleagues with regular responsibilities
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Full-time student; Junior or Senior level with a GPA of at least 3.5. This internship may extend beyond the summer semester. Available to work between 9 and 19 hours during the school year and up to 40 hours during the summer
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience or interest working with CRM systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven organizational skills
- Accuracy and the ability to be very detail oriented
- Ability to manage numerous activities and support the efforts of others in achieving company goals
- Initiative, ability to work independently, meeting deadlines and interacting professionally with all contacts
