Are you pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, possibly complemented by a minor in Mathematics or Actuarial Studies, and graduating between December 2026 and August 2027? Do you have a passion for learning new technologies, exploring innovative solutions, and growing your technical expertise? WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Collaborate with experienced developers in an agile development environment, contributing to the design and implementation of high-performance, scalable solutions that power our insurance platforms. Work across diverse technologies, including calculation services, regression testing tools, AWS cloud services, and open-source frameworks.
- Develop well-structured, testable, and efficient code to support new product features and system enhancements.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle—from design and prototyping to deployment and support.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, implementing performance improvements, and building solutions that enhance customer experience.
- Learn and apply best practices in agile software development, while continuously expanding your technical knowledge and skill set.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, ideally graduating between December 2026 and August 2027.
- Strong mathematical foundation (minor in Mathematics or Actuarial Studies preferred).
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) with hands-on experience in C++ or C#.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and OpenAPI specifications.
- Practical knowledge of data structures and algorithms and how they apply to software development.
- Exposure to or comfort working with Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Ability to contribute effectively to a collaborative team environment and adapt to a fast-paced, agile setting.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, think creatively, and explore innovative technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently when needed, and willingness to travel if required.
BONUS POINTS:
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate issues quickly.
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud-based platforms.
- Experience using development tools and IDEs such as Visual Studio or Eclipse.
- Familiarity with Postman, Git, and a foundational understanding of AI technologies.

The expected hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00, dependent on skills and location. The hourly range is a good faith estimate based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.
