About the Role
As Senior Manager – Operations, you will own day-to-day support operations for client locations — ensuring procurement, vendor management, facilities support, and administrative services run smoothly, cost-effectively, and without escalations. This role is designed for an operations leader who can build strong operating systems, tighten execution discipline through trackers and governance, and serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, client SPOCs, and finance teams.
You will be responsible for vendor outcomes, cost tracking, process streamlining, and ensuring operational readiness across multiple client locations.
What You’ll Do
Procurement & Operational Support Ownership
- Drive procurement and routine management for IT, real estate, facilities, office supplies, events, and goodies as per client requirements.
- Ensure timely fulfillment, delivery coordination, and operational readiness across locations.
Vendor Management & Service Delivery
- Own end-to-end vendor management for operations and administrative vendors.
- Define expectations, manage performance, and ensure service quality across stakeholders and sites.
Payments, Documentation & Cost Tracking
- Coordinate payment processing and maintain mandatory documentation and approval trails.
- Own trackers and reporting cadence; monitor client-wise costs and operational expenses.
- Liaise with finance teams to record transactions accurately and on time.
Process Improvement & Systems Building
- Build procedures, systems, and operating rhythms to streamline admin/ops workflows.
- Reduce lags, remove repetition, improve turnaround times, and prevent escalations through better governance and clarity of ownership.
Stakeholder Coordination & Governance
- Act as the liaison between project managers, client SPOCs, and Zinnov finance teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain strong cadence, responsiveness, and closure discipline on all operational actions.
Policy, Compliance & Local Regulation Awareness
- Ensure awareness and adherence to Zinnov and client policies and local regulations to enable smooth functioning across sites.
Budgeting & Expense Governance
- Prepare budgets for operational and administrative expenses and track performance vs actuals.
- Highlight variances early and propose practical actions to control costs without compromising service quality.
Multi-location Support & Logistics Enablement
- Provide logistical and operational support across client locations; ensure consistent execution standards and predictable service delivery.
What You Bring
Qualifications & Experience
- 8–12+ years of experience in corporate operations / administration, preferably in multi-location environments.
- Strong exposure to facilities/real estate coordination, procurement, vendor governance, and operational reporting.
- Working understanding of finance basics and cost management to support expense governance and tracking.
Key Skills
- Strong vendor management and procurement execution (hands-on, outcome-driven).
- Awareness of site engineering / facilities operations basics.
- Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills with comfort building trackers and reports.
- Strong communication, time management, and follow-through.
- Process mindset: ability to create SOPs, streamline workflows, and reduce escalations.
- Collaborative team player with high responsiveness and ownership.
