Chief of Staff (Principal)
About Zinnov
Zinnov is a global management consulting firm that helps organizations make decisions that actually get used — and deliver results that matter. For over two decades, we’ve partnered with leading enterprises, high-growth technology companies, and investors to answer some of the toughest questions they face:
-
Where should we invest?
-
How do we scale globally?
-
What capabilities will win in the next decade?
Our work shapes market entry strategies, global operating models, M&A decisions, and long-term growth bets. We’re known for being data-led, execution-focused, and outcome-driven — not opinion-heavy slideware.
At Zinnov, how you work matters as much as what you deliver. We value independent thinking, crisp communication, and early ownership. With 450+ professionals across 10 global offices, we work across industries including Digital Services, ER&D, Enterprise Software, Semiconductors, Healthcare, BFSI, Automotive, Media & Telecom, and Private Equity.
Zinnov isn’t for everyone. It’s for people who want steep learning curves, honest feedback, and the chance to see their work influence real business decisions — not just presentations.
Why Globalisation Excellence (GE)
Zinnov’s Globalisation Excellence (GE) practice helps enterprises build and scale Global Capability Centers (GCCs) end-to-end — from Design & Discovery to Build, Scale, and Run.
In GE, you don’t work in silos. You:
Own complex, end-to-end client journeys
Work across GCC advisory, managed services, and BOT / outsourcing models
Influence leadership decisions that shape long-term talent and operating strategies
This is where strategy meets execution — and where talent plays a defining role.
About the Role
As Chief of Staff, you will play a critical role in aligning strategic objectives with day-to-day execution. You will directly support the Head of the Center in running operations, driving key initiatives, and ensuring executive communication and stakeholder alignment across internal and external audiences.
This role is designed for a high-ownership leader who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels — managing critical programs, building leadership-grade narratives, and serving as a trusted advisor and connector across teams, customers, and senior stakeholders.
What You’ll Do

- Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of the Center, providing strategic insights and operational support.
- Drive key strategic initiatives end-to-end — from planning through execution — ensuring alignment to organizational goals.
- Develop action plans that connect long-term priorities to weekly execution, ensuring the center’s operating motions stay aligned to outcomes.
Executive Communication & Leadership Narratives
- Coordinate and streamline executive communication to ensure clarity, cadence, and effective dissemination across the organization.
- Own the preparation of high-quality presentations and reports for executive forums and external stakeholders.
Program & Project Ownership
- Manage critical cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Drive continuous improvement and change initiatives to enhance organizational performance and execution maturity.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Serve as a liaison between the Head of the Center and other executives, teams, and external partners to ensure smooth coordination and communication.
- Act as a relationship manager between Zinnov and the customer — strengthening partnership through deep context, strategic insight, and structured communication.
Business Development Support
- Identify new opportunities and help drive collaboration that supports mutual growth objectives.
Budget Support & Execution Visibility
- Support budget management through tracking operational expenses and financial forecasting.
What You Bring

- 10–15+ years of experience within technology or product development sectors.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering / Computer Science (or related field) and an MBA.
- Consulting background preferred.
Key Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to design and execute high-impact programs.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and sustain senior stakeholder relationships.
- High adaptability and strong organizational judgment — able to manage multiple priorities with tact and diplomacy.
- Strong project management and executive reporting experience.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development cycles.
- Understanding of the technologies and software products being developed at the center.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams through influence and structured execution.
What Success Looks Like – Globalisation Excellence (GE)
- The Head of the Center has clear visibility and confidence in priorities, risks, decisions, and execution status.
- Strategic initiatives move from intent to outcomes with tight governance, clear owners, and strong follow-through.
- Executive and customer communications are crisp, aligned, and decision-ready.
- Critical programs land on time, within budget, and with measurable impact on center performance.
- Stakeholders experience strong operating cadence — fewer escalations, faster alignment, and better execution quality.
If you enjoy operating as the right hand to senior leadership, driving high-stakes initiatives end-to-end, and building the operating rhythm that helps a center scale — this role offers both impact and growth.
