About the Role 

As Project Lead I, you will drive consulting project delivery by owning key workstreams end-to-end — shaping the problem, building strong fact bases through primary and secondary research, applying rigorous analysis, and translating insights into client-ready recommendations. 

This role is designed for a high-ownership consultant who can operate with strong delivery rigor, collaborate closely with Engagement Leads and Managers, and consistently raise the quality bar on research, storytelling, and execution. Alongside delivery, you will contribute to business development through proposal support and help build reusable practice assets. 

What You’ll Do 

End-to-End Workstream Ownership 

• Develop a holistic view of the engagement and connect workstream outputs to the client’s core problem. 

• Own smaller engagements independently or lead workstreams/modules within larger consulting projects. 

• Drive predictable execution across timelines, dependencies, and quality standards. 

Research & Insight Development 

• Conduct deep secondary research and support primary research to build strong fact bases. 

• Apply analytical techniques to derive clear patterns, implications, and strategic insights. 

• Build competitive advantage through consumer and market understanding where relevant. 

Research Program & Data Governance Support 

• Provide direction to external agencies and internal resources supporting research programs. 

• Manage ongoing data tracking services and ensure reporting formats and access are usable across stakeholders. 

• Ensure research outputs remain consistent, credible, and decision-useful. 

Client-ready Storytelling & Deliverables 

• Communicate key facts, trends, and implications through structured reports, presentations, and ad-hoc analyses. 

• Maintain high standards of written and visual output quality — clarity, precision, and polish. 

• Support leadership-grade narratives and recommendations aligned to client priorities. 

Business Development & Practice Development 

• Support business development by preparing project/work proposals and pitch modules. 

• Collaborate with team members to ensure superior deliverables and build reusable frameworks/assets. 

What You Bring 

Qualifications & Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering) from a top-tier university. 

• MBA/PGDM preferred. 

• Experience requirements not specified; strong consulting delivery capability and workstream ownership expected. 

Key Skills 

• Excellent business writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills. 

• Strong research, analytical, and numerical capability. 

• Ability to develop and articulate strategic recommendations grounded in rigorous analysis. 

• High proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). 

• Extremely detail-oriented with high standards for written and visual output. 

• Strong interpersonal skills; comfort working in timeline-driven, high-pressure environments. 

• Self-driven, high energy, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-growing setup.
