About the Role
As Assistant Manager – Operations, you will supervise daily support operations for client locations and build efficient operational and administrative procedures that scale. This role is designed for an execution-first operations leader who can manage vendors and procurement end-to-end, maintain strong tracking and documentation discipline, and partner closely with finance teams to ensure costs and transactions are recorded accurately.
Your goal is to ensure support operations run smoothly and predictably — with minimal escalations — so business teams can operate without friction.
What You’ll Do
Procurement & Operational Support
- Drive procurement and routine management across IT, Real Estate, Facilities, Office Supplies, Events, and Goodies for client requirements.
- Ensure timely sourcing, coordination, delivery, and closure across stakeholders and locations.
Vendor Management & Service Quality
- Own end-to-end vendor management for operations and administrative vendors.
- Set expectations, manage service delivery, resolve issues, and ensure consistent outcomes.
Payments, Documentation & Trackers
- Process payments with strong documentation and approval hygiene.
- Maintain timely trackers/reports and monitor client-wise costs and expenses.
- Liaise with finance teams to ensure accurate transaction recording and clean cost visibility.
Process Excellence & Systems Building
- Develop procedures and systems to streamline operational workflows.
- Reduce lags, remove repetition/non-productive activities, and prevent escalations and delays through better governance and clarity of ownership.
Stakeholder Coordination & Governance
- Serve as the liaison between Project Managers, Client SPOCs, and Zinnov Finance teams to ensure smooth day-to-day execution.
- Drive responsiveness and closure discipline across operational actions.
Policy, Compliance & Local Regulation Awareness
- Ensure awareness and adherence to Zinnov and client policies and relevant local regulations to enable smooth functioning.
Multi-location Logistics & Admin Enablement
- Provide technical and logistical support for administrative activities across all client locations.
- Ensure consistent execution standards and predictable service delivery across sites.
Budgeting & Expense Governance
- Prepare budgets for operational and administrative expenses and track against actuals.
- Highlight variances early and recommend practical actions to control costs without compromising service quality.
What You Bring
Qualifications & Experience
- 6–10+ years of experience in corporate operations / administration, preferably in multi-location environments.
- Strong exposure to procurement and vendor management, with hands-on execution ownership.
- Basic understanding of finance and cost management to support expense tracking and governance.
Key Skills
- Thorough knowledge of corporate operations and administrative workflows.
- Strong procurement capability with hands-on vendor management and negotiation comfort.
- Understanding and awareness of site engineering / facilities fundamentals.
- Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills; comfort building trackers and reports.
- Strong communication and time management with consistent follow-through.
- Team player mindset with high ownership and responsiveness.
