Project Lead II

Bangalore

About Zinnov

Zinnov is a global management consulting firm that helps organizations make decisions that actually get used — and deliver results that matter. For over two decades, we’ve partnered with leading enterprises, high-growth technology companies, and investors to answer some of the toughest questions they face:

  • Where should we invest?

  • How do we scale globally?

  • What capabilities will win in the next decade?

Our work shapes market entry strategies, global operating models, M&A decisions, and long-term growth bets. We’re known for being data-led, execution-focused, and outcome-driven — not opinion-heavy slideware.

At Zinnov, how you work matters as much as what you deliver. We value independent thinking, crisp communication, and early ownership. With 450+ professionals across 10 global offices, we work across industries including Digital Services, ER&D, Enterprise Software, Semiconductors, Healthcare, BFSI, Automotive, Media & Telecom, and Private Equity.

Zinnov isn’t for everyone. It’s for people who want steep learning curves, honest feedback, and the chance to see their work influence real business decisions — not just presentations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Lead II is a senior, customer-facing delivery role at Zinnov, sitting at the intersection of client relationship management and consulting excellence. This position is vital for ensuring successful project outcomes through rigorous research, high-quality delivery, and strategic consulting engagement at the CXO level. The PL-II acts as the primary point of contact for clients and is directly accountable for the quality of the customer experience.

Given the seniority of stakeholder interactions, including C-suite leaders and enterprise decision-makers, this role demands not only deep domain knowledge but also exceptional communication, structured thinking, and executive gravitas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and independently manage end-to-end client projects, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts, owning the relationship and ensuring a high-quality customer experience at every touchpoint.
  • Facilitate workshops, strategy sessions, and storyboarding exercises with CXO-level leaders to align on project objectives and drive decision-making.
  • Provide strategic consulting and advisory inputs at the executive level, translating research insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Design and execute research frameworks to inform project strategies, market analyses, and client deliverables.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams — including research, data, and BD — to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including white papers, reports, and point-of-view documents, as required.
  • Support business development efforts through client relationship deepening, identification of upsell opportunities, and participation in pitches.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-6 years of experience in Management Consulting, Research, or a related advisory function.
  • Demonstrated expertise in research design, synthesis, and delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Strong client management skills with a proven track record of building and sustaining senior-level relationships.
  • Excellent consulting skills including structured storyboarding, executive communication, and workshop facilitation.
  • Executive presence with the confidence and capability to engage, influence, and advise at the CXO level.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce polished, insight-driven deliverables independently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduates with MBA (optional)
  • Experience working with or advising Global Capability Centres (GCCs) or Global Business Services (GBS) organizations is a significant advantage.
  • Domain exposure to Technology, IT, or ITeS sectors will be prioritized during evaluation.
  • Familiarity with enterprise transformation, AI adoption, or workforce strategy themes is a plus.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

The PL-II is not a back-office delivery role. It is the face of Zinnov to the client. The skills required — CXO-level executive presence, research-led delivery, and workshop facilitation — are not easily redistributed across the team, making this a critical and specialized hire.

A strong PL-II hire is expected to independently manage one or more client accounts within the first 60-90 days, reduce senior leadership load on day-to-day client management, and create meaningful upside for account retention and depth over a 6-12 month horizon.

Zinnov is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to building an inclusive workplace. We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, communities, and experiences.
