Account Executive (Life Sciences)

Your Role:
- You’re a strategic closer, trusted advisor, and product consultant – working with life sciences companies across the EMEA region to deliver tailored procurement solutions that drive ROI.
- You’re an industry specialist – leveraging your understanding of the life sciences sector to navigate complex sales processes and secure high-value deals.
- You’re a product evangelist – aligning Zip’s solutions with the distinct needs of EMEA-based life sciences companies, and anticipating future industry trends.
- You’re a cultural architect – helping to shape the culture, processes, and success metrics of our new life sciences vertical within the EMEA region.
You Will:
- Develop expertise in EMEA life sciences procurement – understanding regional differences and regulatory requirements that influence procurement in the industry.
- Deeply understand the Zip platform – and how it can be tailored to meet the unique challenges of EMEA-based life sciences companies.
- Use sophisticated sales tools – leveraging sales intelligence, your network, and market insights to manage deal cycles and win new business.
- Be flexible and forward-thinking – playing a critical role in shaping our sales strategy in a high-growth startup environment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of closing experience in technology SaaS sales at the enterprise level, ideally within the life sciences or healthcare sectors.
- Strong understanding of the EMEA life sciences market – including the specific challenges and opportunities within the region.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills – capable of managing complex deals and interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Experience using tools like Salesforce, Clari, Zoominfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, and Outreach.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Life Sciences, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience selling to life sciences companies in the EMEA region.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues specific to EMEA life sciences.
