We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Learning & Capability to shape the future of learning at Zip. Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, you’ll lead the design, delivery, and ongoing improvement of learning experiences that build technical, leadership, and soft skills. You’ll drive capability uplift, support performance, and build a culture of continuous learning through Zip Academy.

This role is ideal for a learning professional who thrives on developing innovative, data-driven programs that help teams grow and adapt. You’ll partner with leaders and subject matter experts to deliver impactful, scalable development solutions.

Interesting problems you’ll get to solve

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a company-wide learning and development strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce needs.
  • Lead the delivery of programs that build technical, leadership, and soft skills across all levels.
  • Partner with People & Culture, business leaders, and SMEs to identify capability gaps and co-create learning solutions.
  • Design and roll out an enterprise-wide AI capability framework to build confidence in using AI tools effectively and responsibly.
  • Drive adoption of our learning tech ecosystem, including LinkedIn Learning, through campaigns, curated content, and integration into development plans.
  • Use data and feedback to assess learning impact and continuously improve outcomes.
  • Oversee platforms and vendors to deliver scalable, high-quality learning experiences.
  • Facilitate workshops and leadership sessions that support talent and change programs across the business.

What you'll bring to the team

  • Proven experience in learning and capability development, ideally within a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and blended learning methodologies.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align learning initiatives to broader organisational goals.
  • Confident facilitator with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience designing and delivering programs that uplift both technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Deep interest or experience in building AI-related capabilities and supporting enterprise-wide digital adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable outcomes in skills development, internal mobility, and manager effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with learning platforms (e.g., LMS, LXP), digital learning tools, and AI-driven technologies.
  • A passion for building future-ready teams and creating meaningful employee experiences.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, manage projects end-to-end, and thrive in an agile, growth-focused culture.
