Join Zip’s Finance function, a team that plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and performance of the financial systems that underpin our business.
As our Finance Systems Manager, you’ll partner closely with Finance leaders, Technology and cross-functional teams to deliver system enhancements, embed effective controls and support an audit-ready environment. Your work will help us design smarter processes, uplift our control frameworks and ensure our financial systems evolve in line with best practice.
What you’ll own
- Supporting the delivery, enhancement and maintenance of Zip’s Finance systems, ensuring well-designed processes, strong financial and General IT controls and audit-ready workflows
- Helping to establish, maintain and monitor a robust internal control framework across Finance systems, identifying deficiencies early and supporting remediation
- Collaborating with Finance, Technology and operational teams to ensure seamless and well-controlled integration between front- and back-office systems
- Providing system support and guidance to end users, uplifting capability and adherence to control requirements
- Maintaining training materials, documentation and master data to support governance, consistency and audit expectations
What you’ll bring to the team
- 5 to 8 years of experience across Finance, Accounting or Finance Systems, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and process design
- Exposure to SOX programs or internal control frameworks, with the ability to follow and maintain control-compliant processes
- Experience with ERP or Finance systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, TM1 or Calumo, with a passion for optimisation and control uplift
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify deficiencies, assess risks and recommend practical solutions
- A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
