The Growth team at Zip is focused on accelerating customer engagement, merchant performance and sustainable revenue growth. We work at the intersection of brand, commercial and performance marketing to deliver measurable outcomes that move the business forward.

As our Merchant Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening strategic marketing partnerships with our key merchants. This newly created position blends B2B and B2C marketing, giving you the opportunity to shape proactive engagement strategies, deliver integrated campaigns and directly drive Total Transaction Value uplift and revenue growth.

What you’ll own

  • You will develop and lead the Key Merchant Engagement Strategy, aligning structured marketing plans and campaign calendars to priority retail and seasonal moments.
  • You will plan and deliver integrated multi channel campaigns across CRM, app, onsite, social, paid media, sponsorships and other amplification channels, with approximately two campaigns per month alongside key peak trading moments.
  • You will drive commercial outcomes including new customer acquisition, merchant retention, upsell initiatives and deeper engagement from Zip’s existing customer base.
  • You will lead go to market strategy and execution for new merchant partnerships, ensuring strong launch impact and early performance momentum.
  • You will optimise channel mix across paid and owned channels to maximise TTV uplift, balancing budget constraints with smart use of owned assets.
  • You will partner closely with Creative, CRM, Growth and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution and consistent messaging.
  • You will act as a trusted marketing advisor to senior internal stakeholders and key merchant contacts.
  • You will mentor and support a Marketing Assistant to scale campaign delivery and elevate team capability.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Extensive experience in integrated marketing within a well established consumer brand or high growth environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver multi channel campaigns that drive measurable revenue or transaction uplift.
  • Strong expertise in CRM led marketing and owned channel optimisation, with a balanced understanding of paid and organic strategies.
  • Experience operating across both B2B and B2C marketing, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Commercial acumen and a data led approach to decision making.
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members, or readiness to step into your first people leadership role.
  • A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
