Summary:
ZipRecruiter is seeking a highly motivated Senior Marketing Manager to join its distinguished
and large in-house marketing team. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead Paid Search (SEM / PPC) and YouTube execution and strategy, as well as collaborate with other channels on various research, data analysis, and marketing initiatives. You will own B2B and B2C paid search Lead gen programs as well as help execute paid YouTube marketing campaigns. You
will share results and execute on various digital marketing strategies.

Key Focuses:
- Own the hands-on execution and strategy of some of our Paid Search and Paid
YouTube channels
- Meet and collaborate with Google and Microsoft reps to improve our marketing
- Conduct analysis and audits to optimize Google Ads and Microsoft Ads spend
- Collaborate with SEO team to identify opportunities for SEO via SEM data and vice
Versa.
- Contribute to marketing strategy, thought leadership, and financial planning
- Prepare ad hoc and recurring updates on spend and marketing performance
- Support other marketing team members with execution and analysis across other
business
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of experience with Paid Search / SEM (Google Ads and Microsoft Ads)
- 2+ Years of experience executing paid YouTube advertising
- Strong hands-on experience with most Google Ads products (Demand Gen, Discovery,
UAC, Display, Performance Max, DSA, Experiments, Google Ads Editor, RSAs)
- Strong hands-on experience with various YouTube products and ad formats
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree from a top university, major in Business or Marketing preferred
- Proven data analysis, spreadsheeting skills and strong experience with Microsoft Excel (vlookups and pivot tables), Google Sheets and Google Docs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with B2B or B2C lead gen
- Ability to identity improvements and restructure accounts to improve performance
- Experience managing direct reports a plus
- Knowledge of SQL (or willingness to learn) a plus
- Knowledge of Google Ads scripts (or willingness to learn) a plus

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000-$180,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
