Summary of Job:

As an Acquisition Account Executive, you will use your full cycle selling skills to bring on new subscribers to the ZipRecruiter subscription platform. As an Account Executive on the Acquisition team you will be given a defined and curated territory with market research intelligence. The territory will be made up of employers who have never worked with ZipRecruiter previously, requiring a new business acquisition sales process that includes the full sales cycle skill set, initial appointment setting, platform demonstration, free trial management, proposal development, and closing.

Key focuses:

  • Hit or exceed your quarterly new business quota
  • Seek and secure net new Accounts
  • Drive revenue by prospecting and building client pipeline
  • Schedule and run demos with clients
  • Manage Free Trial of our product
  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan for defined territory
  • Work to develop and circulate the set of best practices that will be the foundation of this growing team
  • Making 70+ phone calls (10+ conversations) per day to assigned companies with more than 250 employees
  • Analyze trends and present monthly analytics reports to your clients
  • Build and develop account relationships and close sales quickly

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years cold calling experience
  • At least 2-3 years of prospecting experience
  • Demonstrated success as a current high performing Sales Representative
  • Proven track record of winning net new business
  • Proven track record of high output activity (calls, meetings, demos)
  • Ability to effectively build trust-based relationships with senior-level decision makers
  • High need for achievement and competition, loves to compete and win
  • Enthusiastic, optimistic and certain of victory, Unfazed by rejection
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Easily builds rapport and establishes relationships with prospects
  • Listens patiently, will probe and clarify to get a real sense of customer's needs
  • Coachable, listens to and implements advice from manager
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey them over the phone
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and enjoys the challenge of tight deadlines and managing a variety of duties
  • Organized, reliable, detail oriented
  • High need for achievement and competition, loves to compete and win
  • Familiar with 30-45 day sales cycle
  • Applicant Tracking System Knowledge
  • Knowledge of the job board/Human Resources industry
  • Prior B2B experience required

The US base pay for this full-time position is $24.04/hr.
