In this role, you will play a key role in partnering with our Breakroom team to help us launch the Breakroom Quiz in the United States by creating high-performing paid social media content for Meta, Tiktok, YouTube and Snap. Key Focuses:

  • Help launch and grow Breakroom’s TikTok presence in the U.S., while shaping and establishing a distinct brand voice for the U.S. market
  • Own the complete content creation process from scripting and shooting to editing and optimisation
  • Produce high-performing impactful content for paid social media channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Snap) that drive conversions for the lowest cost
  • Leverage performance data to inform and iterate on ad creative, ensuring each piece is optimized for engagement and results

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, or other major platforms, with a strong understanding of audience behavior, algorithms, and trends
  • Ability to create attention-grabbing content with compelling hooks and clear messaging in under 20 seconds
  • Strong proficiency in CapCut or similar video editing tools to create high-quality, engaging content optimized for social media platforms
  • Skilled at communicating in a tone that resonates with Gen Z and aligns with Breakroom’s brand voice
  • Deep familiarity with U.S. culture, humor, trends, and current events
  • Strong creative instincts, with the ability to use both data and intuition to guide content strategy and optimize performance
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple video projects and iterate quickly based on feedback
  • Highly creative and proactive in pitching and developing new content ideas
  • Based in EST OR CT to enable regular collaboration with the UK Marketing team
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in remote and cross-functional environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience analyzing performance data from ad platforms to inform creative decisions and improve campaign results
  • Background in social-first content creation for a brand, media company, or agency

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $33.75/hr-$44.50/hr. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.

Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
