Summary:
We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager of Job Seeker Growth to lead the strategy and execution behind growing ZipRecruiter’s job seeker base. In this role, you will drive user acquisition in the most cost-effective way possible while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including multiple engineering squads. You’ll optimize existing growth channels, experiment with new strategies, and establish clear success metrics to maximize impact. This is a unique opportunity to shape how millions of job seekers discover opportunities while making a direct impact on ZipRecruiter’s growth.
We are open to considering candidates for either a Lead or Principal level, depending on the depth of experience and qualifications.
Key Focuses:
- Develop and prioritize strategies to increase job seeker registrations and drive sustained growth
- Optimize SEO and paid acquisition channels while identifying and testing new opportunities
- Define and refine cost-effectiveness metrics to assess performance across all channels
- Lead and collaborate with engineering, marketing, and data teams to execute growth initiatives
- Balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution, from data analysis to UI refinement
- Drive a culture of experimentation and iteration, using data to inform decisions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work in Eastern or Central Time zones to collaborate with Tel Aviv-based engineering teams
- 6+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams focused on growth
- 4+ years of formal product management experience with a track record of driving results
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform growth strategies
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to facilitate collaboration with engineers
- Highly organized, structured thinker with a strong sense of urgency
- Helicopter pilot mentality - can easily switch from high level strategy to UI polish and data model details
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience driving user acquisition through SEO
- 2+ years of experience managing or directing product teams

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,500 - $290,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
