This role translates business priorities, product capabilities, and market insights into sales strategies, repeatable plays, and measurable outcomes for Direct Sales. The Senior Manager owns sales enablement strategy and execution for the channel, equipping sales leaders and reps with the messaging, tools, training, and insights needed to win new business, increase product adoption, and grow existing accounts.

The role leads sales readiness for strategic go-to-market initiatives and product launches, while partnering with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations. It does not own overall GTM strategy or cross-functional business outcomes outside its enablement scope.

What You'll Do

Drive Sales Enablement for Direct Sales

  • Develop enablement plans aligned with Direct Sales goals, prioritizing pipeline conversion, product adoption, and account expansion.
  • Partner with Direct Sales leadership on repeatable sales plays, discovery frameworks, competitive positioning, and customer-facing recommendations.
  • Support adoption of ZipRecruiter's enterprise sales methodology through practical resources, training, and best practices informed by field insights and performance data.

Lead Sales Readiness for GTM Initiatives and Product Launches

  • Lead sales readiness for product launches and strategic go-to-market initiatives, from messaging and planning through training, adoption, and measurement.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Sales Leadership to translate product capabilities and market trends into value propositions, sales narratives, and differentiated positioning for Direct Sales.
  • Develop launch plans, talk tracks, sales plays, competitive insights, training materials, and communications that connect product capabilities to customer outcomes.

Build Scalable Content and Customer Insights

  • Own scalable sales enablement content, including presentations, business review frameworks, case studies, playbooks, and customer-facing collateral.
  • Equip Direct Sales reps with customer insights and recommendations that strengthen relationships, demonstrate value, and uncover expansion opportunities.
  • Improve content management and enablement workflows, partnering with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product and leveraging AI and automation to reduce manual effort.

Improve Sales Effectiveness and Partner Across the Business

  • Partner with Direct Sales leadership and Revenue Operations to define KPIs, measure enablement effectiveness, and improve sales performance.
  • Track adoption, pipeline progression, product penetration, and revenue outcomes to optimize programs and demonstrate impact.
  • Serve as a trusted partner across Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations, bringing structure and clear ownership to enablement initiatives.
  • Build feedback loops with customer-facing teams and earn field adoption by ensuring programs translate into day-to-day behavior change.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Enterprise Marketing, Product Marketing, Go-to-Market Strategy, or a related field.
  • Experience translating business priorities and product capabilities into sales strategies, plays, launch readiness plans, messaging, and training that improve field execution.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing sales narratives, presentations, and enablement materials.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and measure business impact.
  • Proven ability to partner with Sales Leadership and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, customer needs, and the drivers of pipeline progression, product adoption, and account growth.
  • Experience using data, customer insights, and field feedback to improve sales performance.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Salesforce, and sales enablement platforms such as Highspot; familiarity with Gong, Glean, AI-enabled workflows, HR technology, recruiting, SaaS, or enterprise software is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

As part of our team you'll enjoy:
