We are looking for a Chief of Staff who will serve as a force multiplier for the CEO and executive team, drive strategic initiatives, ensure operational alignment, and facilitate high-impact execution across the organization. This role will entail working closely with leadership, internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders and will require both an in-office presence and frequent travel.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Execution: Drive the CEO’s strategic agenda by managing key initiatives, tracking priorities, and identifying roadblocks before they arise. 
  • Executive Operations: Run cadence for executive meetings, quarterly planning cycles, offsites, and meeting preparation – ensuring alignment across the leadership team. 
  • Cross-Functional Engagement: Partner across engineering, operations, finance, and people to coordinate complex, matrixed communications. 
  • Internal Communications: Serve as a thought partner and ghostwriter for the CEO for memos, customer updates, all-hands meetings, and other company-wide communications. 
  • Decision Support: Prepare briefing materials and conduct analyses to inform high-level decision making. Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities within a fast-paced environment. 
  • Confidential Initiatives: Take on special projects on behalf of the CEO – often involving sensitive people, strategy, or partnership matters. 
  • Travel & Representation: Travel regularly with or on behalf of the CEO to key sites, meetings, engagements, or offsite planning sessions. 

Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of experience in a high-impact role (e.g. consulting, product, operations, finance, or Chief of Staff) in a fast-paced and/or highly regulated environment 
  • Proven ability to operate with discretion, integrity, and sound judgement 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex issues to clear and actionable tasks 
  • Ability to build trust across different levels and functions 
  • Exceptional project management and prioritization skills; ability to thrive in ambiguity 
  • Demonstrated success working directly with high-level leadership and external customers 
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 50% or more) as business needs require 
  • Preferred: previous experience performing in a senior operator role 
  • U.S. Citizenship 

Pay range for this role

$100,000 - $180,000 USD
