Job Summary

The Product Owner will drive the development and continuous improvement of Zone & Co.'s billing solutions. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong product management expertise, and exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional remote teams. The Product Owner will ensure the billing product roadmap and strategy align seamlessly with Zone & Co.'s vision, strategic objectives, and overall business goals while fostering team integration and product cohesion.

Responsibilities:

Billing Strategy & Roadmap

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Zone & Co.'s billing solutions.
• Align the product roadmap with overall company strategy and business goals.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of billing features and capabilities.
• Collaborate with leadership across Go-To-Market, Services, Customer Success, and other departments.

Product Management Workflows

• Define and implement product management processes, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and product release management.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to manage the product lifecycle and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Work closely with development teams to translate product requirements into actionable tasks.

Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all billing-related matters.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and successes to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative environment between the billing team and other departments.

Team Leadership & Market Insights

• • Provide guidance and support to the team, ensuring a cohesive and productive work environment.
  • Identify and resolve billing-related issues or conflicts.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product decisions.
  • Develop a clear product strategy that capitalizes on the strengths of Zone & Co.'s billing solutions.

Job Qualifications:

• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Product Management Experience – 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on billing or financial software projects.
• Agile & Product Management Tools – Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Excellent ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a remote work environment.
• Leadership & Project Management – Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Market Analysis & Strategic Planning – Experience conducting market analysis and contributing to strategic planning initiatives.
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – Understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
• ERP & CRM Systems Expertise – Functional and/or technical experience with cloud-based ERPs, CRMs, and related platforms.
