We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Support Engineer to manage and maintain Jira Data Center products, Confluence, JIRA, and related tools. Reporting to the Manager, Software Development Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
- Supporting and managing JIRA, Confluence Data Center, and plugins, providing Tier 1 and 2 assistance for workflows, access, reporting, and dashboards
- Creating and managing workflows to sync Jira and automate DevSecOps tools like BitBucket and Bamboo
- Monitoring the performance, availability, and security of Atlassian applications, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise
- Working with Development teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and tailor Atlassian tools
- Establishing best practices for Atlassian tools and train users for effective use
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field with
- 3+ years experience in administration of Atlassian Jira Data Center products
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, transformation, and visualization, including the ability to write complex queries and work with relational databases
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python and Groovy) for automation and customization of Atlassian tools including integration with build and deployment infrastructure
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with structuring, documenting, and implementing change management best practices (playbooks, design docs, trainings, etc.) for new products and features
- Experience in maintaining backend of these applications like installation/upgradation/migration would be a plus
- Atlassian certifications, such as Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator or Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator
