We are looking for a Sr Staff Software Development Engineer to our Zero Trust Exchange team. Reporting to the Sr Manager of Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
- Architecting, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks and tooling to enhance engineering productivity across diverse product teams
- Building and manage scalable mocks, stubs, and simulation environments to improve integration and system testing reliability
- Collaborating with multiple development teams to identify productivity bottlenecks and architect bespoke solutions, including pipelines and reporting frameworks
- Leading and contribute to initiatives to improve the quality of testing and champion the implementation of efficient test strategies across teams
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages (Typescript/JavaScript, Python, or Go) with a proven track record of building large-scale tooling
- Expertise with cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms) and infrastructure-as-code automation
- Demonstrated expertise in building automated testing frameworks from scratch using Playwright, Selenium, or similar
- Deep understanding of testing fundamentals with the ability to analyse and address gaps in current test processes; able to think as a tester and work with product teams to design efficient test strategies leveraging modern practices (e.g., test pyramids, test segregation)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD systems and pipeline orchestration using platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Prior experience in an engineering productivity, developer tools, or internal tooling team, ideally within a large-scale enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like K6, JMeter, or similar
- Familiarity with building dashboards or reporting frameworks using technologies such as Grafana, Kibana, or custom UIs
