We’re looking for a Security Engineer (Cloud Security) to join our Information Security Engineering team in Bangalore. You will help design, implement, and operate security controls across public cloud and container platforms, partnering with platform owners, SRE, and product teams to reduce risk through guardrails, automation, and data‑driven remediation. You bring solid cloud fundamentals, a builder’s mindset, and the ability to turn findings into action. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Security Engineering, you will:
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboard and monitor AWS/Azure/GCP accounts, implement guardrails (IAM, segmentation, encryption, logging), triage misconfigurations, reduce noise, and drive remediation
- Integrate container/image scanning in CI/CD, enforce Kubernetes security (RBAC, admission controls, secrets, policies) for EKS/AKS/GKE
- Enable Infrastructure as Code checks (Terraform/CloudFormation/Bicep), provide remediation guidance, and enforce policy gates
- Detect vulnerabilities in cloud workloads (VMs, containers, serverless), apply risk-based prioritization, and ensure SLA-driven remediation
- Automate onboarding, evidence collection, and reporting (Python/Go), integrate cloud-native signals into dashboards, and produce posture reports
What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)
- 2–4 years of experience in information or cloud security, hands-on with AWS and familiarity with Azure or GCP
- Strong knowledge of Cloud IAM, networking (VPC/VNet, routing, security groups), encryption (KMS), secrets management, logging/monitoring, and alert triage
- Experience with CSPM/CNAPP, vulnerability management for cloud native workloads, and integrating container/IaC scanning in CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient in Python or Go for scripting/automation, Git, basic data analysis/SQL, and effective collaboration for practical remediation
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with tools like Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Orca, Tenable/Qualys, Snyk, Trivy/Grype, kube-bench, OPA/Conftest, and tfsec/checkov; familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), artifact registries, and image signing (e.g., cosign)
- Awareness of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) and evidence collection in cloud environments
- Relevant certifications (AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, Google Cloud Security Engineer, CKA/CKS, Security+) are a plus
