Role

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our APJ Field Sales team in a hybrid capacity (Sydney office 3 days/week), reporting to the Regional Director.

This Account Executive role is a key part of the Zscaler ANZ mid-market business—driving customer satisfaction, technical outcomes, and securing Australian businesses. You will be responsible for running an account strategy and leading a team through prospecting and account management to deliver on key sales objectives as the strategic lead of a high-volume business centered on customer obsession.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

  • Understand and resolve customer pain points using Zscaler's unique value proposition
  • Develop and execute detailed Enterprise territory and account plans involving executive coverage, partner alignment, and marketing support
  • Partner with Solution Engineers and engage cross-functional teams within the organization to support customers
  • Foster long-term, high-trust relationships with executives and key customer stakeholders
  • Build pipeline, present value propositions effectively, maintain Salesforce records, and leverage industry events to drive success

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of Sales and Account Management experience
  • Relevant industry experience, specifically working with Enterprise customers
  • Established, high-trust customer relationships
  • Experience working in leading software companies or consulting organizations
  • Proven ability as a self-starter capable of bringing disruptive technologies to the benefit of customers

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Demonstrable track record of achievement in prior sales roles
  • Experience selling to multiple levels within an organization, including executive-level selling
  • Proven expertise in solution-selling and value-based selling methodologies
