The Role
We’re seeking a highly motivated Program Manager Intern, Sales to join our Emerging Products GTM department. This is a Hybrid role, requiring office presence in San Jose, CA, and reporting to the VP, Emerging Products GTM.
The Program Manager Intern, Sales will support the operational efficiency and execution of high-priority sales initiatives across the Go-to-Market organization. This role focuses on optimizing sales processes, tracking key program milestones/metrics, and leveraging data to drive consistency and scale. You will contribute directly to improving sales performance and ensuring strategic alignment across various regional and functional teams.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Process Mapping and Optimization: Document current sales operational workflows (e.g., deal review, forecast submission, territory planning) and propose actionable optimizations to reduce bottlenecks and improve cross-functional speed and clarity.
- Cross-Functional Project Coordination: Act as a central communication hub between the Sales team and support functions (like Finance, Legal, and Marketing), ensuring all project dependencies are met on schedule and blockers are clearly escalated.
- Sales Tool Standardization Support: Assist in gathering user requirements, testing, and documenting training materials for new sales technology rollouts (e.g., CRM enhancements, sales enablement tools) to ensure high adoption rates across the field organization.
- Sales Process Standardization Support: participate in deal reviews, sales forecast calls and GTM strategy and campaigns and pipeline generation.
Who You Are (Success Profile)
- You thrive in ambiguity. You're comfortable building the path as you walk it. You thrive in a dynamic environment, seeing ambiguity not as a hindrance, but as the raw material to build something meaningful.
- You act like an owner. Your passion for the mission fuels your bias for action. You operate with integrity because you genuinely care about the outcome. You adapt to what’s needed, navigating seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
- You are a problem-solver. You seek out challenges because you are energized by finding solutions, knowing that solving the hard problems delivers the biggest impact.
- You are a high-trust collaborator. You are ambitious for the team, not just yourself. You embrace our challenge culture by giving and receiving ongoing feedback—knowing that candor delivered with clarity and respect is the truest form of teamwork and the fastest way to earn trust.
- You are a learner. You have a true growth mindset and never stop developing yourself, actively seeking feedback to become a better partner and a stronger teammate. You love what you do and you do it with purpose.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related analytical field.
- Proven ability to define, map, and document business processes using logical flowcharts or diagrams, demonstrating structured problem-solving capability.
- Foundational knowledge of using CRM systems (like Salesforce) and intermediate proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets) to manipulate, analyze, and present operational metrics.
- Motivated self-starter with a passion for innovation and technology, particularly in how they enable business strategy.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous internship or co-op experience working specifically within a Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy function.
- Advanced working knowledge of Salesforce administration, reporting, or specific Sales Enablement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, Seismic).
