Role
We are looking for an AI Engineer - AI Security to join our AI Security department on-site in Zagreb or Split, reporting to the Sr. Director of Engineering - AI Red Team.
In this role, you will help accelerate growth in the highly competitive world of AI cybersecurity as a member of our Croatia-based team. You will drive a critical partnership between offensive security and machine learning to ensure our systems remain resilient, secure, and ethical.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Lead the design, planning, and hands-on execution of red team exercises against generative AI systems, probing for prompt injection, adversarial inputs, and broader misuse vectors
- Continuously track advances in AI security, adversarial ML, and responsible/ethical AI to strengthen methodologies and guardrails
- Convert the latest academic and industry findings into actionable test cases, tools, and evaluation procedures while validating their effectiveness
- Define measurable KPIs and success criteria for red team engagements and report findings with clear remediation guidance
- Review and score samples of automatically generated attack scenarios against a defined rubric to assess tool quality, identify gaps, and guide iterative improvements

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Professional experience working with Python and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Proficiency with REST APIs and technical tools like cURL or Postman
- Foundational familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Practical experience or strong knowledge in AI Red Teaming, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience in machine learning, big data engineering, or AI algorithm development
- Deep technical knowledge in Generative AI, cybersecurity, or adjacent technical domains
