The Role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Americas Field Sales team as an individual contributor. In this role, you will be a critical technical partner to our Enterprise sales organization, serving as the bridge between complex technical solutions and meaningful business outcomes. While this is a remote position based in Toronto, you will play a hands-on role in the field, with occasional travel to customer sites and internal events to drive regional success.

What You’ll Do

  • Technical Advocacy: Create and deliver high-impact technical product presentations and demonstrations tailored to prospective enterprise customers.

  • Solution Design: Partner with stakeholders to gather technical requirements, ensuring proposed solutions are perfectly aligned with customer goals and infrastructure.

  • Validation Leadership: Lead product evaluations (POVs) and oversee custom product configurations to prove value in real-world environments.

  • Strategic Planning: Design comprehensive evaluation test plans with customers, guiding the technical sales process from initial discovery to a successful outcome.

Who You Are

  • You act like an owner. Your passion for the mission fuels your bias for action. You operate with integrity because you genuinely care about the outcome, navigating seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

  • You are a high-trust collaborator. You are ambitious for the team, not just yourself. You embrace a challenge culture by giving and receiving candid feedback with respect to build trust and speed.

  • You are a learner. You possess a true growth mindset and actively seek feedback to become a stronger teammate. You love what you do and you do it with purpose.

  • You operate with urgency. You understand that in a high-growth environment, speed and quality go hand-in-hand. You focus on delivering high-impact results quickly to win for both the customer and the team.

  • You are resilient and adaptable. You view change as an opportunity. You maintain composure in high-pressure situations, guiding yourself and your partners through complexity with a steady hand.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems Integrator.

  • Strong Technical Foundation: Proven background in Cybersecurity and Networking, including hands-on experience with TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, and firewalls.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in a consultative technical role.

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Industry Certifications: CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCIE, or Security+.

  • Execution Excellence: Proven experience running multiple concurrent POVs through to deal closure in a quota-carrying environment.

  • Technical Curiosity: A passion for hands-on learning, such as managing self-discovery labs, writing technical blog posts, or creating educational content.
